Being this is the only restaurant in this town, I am going to give it higher marks. However the food is also pretty good. The only problem is they close at 6 (perhaps this is only for winter but I didn't ask)

Kassar Food is a small family run business. Its a combination of grocery store, gift shop, and Halal Restaurant. The restaurant part is in the back of the store and seperated from the store area - so you dont feel disturbed while dining in there. It has couches and tables and chairs and also possiblity of sitting on pillows on the floor to enjoy some tea. It is the only muslim food provider in Morgantown, and during my one day visit in the area, i had the chicken kebab plate. You have to order up front and they bring you the food in the back. The owner is Syrian and he works in the kitchen while his son is on the front counter. They also make desi food - since the muslim community includes people from several different countries - i had a to go order of Lamb Biryani for dinner. The people are very nice, and the place is very cute. I would definately recommend going there.

They have stopped having their buffet on Wednesdays. I would recommend their spicy chicken boneless platter, half chicken platter and combo kabob platter. The meat is a bit pricey so I sometimes visit Pittsburgh to get it at a decent price.

The food is 100% Halaal, I shopped there for 7 years while I lived in Morgantown, the owner will always greet you with a smile. The buffet is okay, but the entree's are awesome. He carries alot of groceries.

Kassar's has made nice addition to their eating enviroment, more of a Middle Eastern theme. Buffet is generally good, but sometimes not very spicy for the desi crowd, but he does take requests. Great take away menu, gyros and stuff. Good selection of international groceries.

"The only Halal place, I think in all of West Virginia. The food isn't that great, but the Shawermas are good. This is a grocery store as well as a restaurant. Lunch buffet is ok and is for 6 dollars."
