Halal Meats & Deli

I have coming to this shop for close to 25 years now. It has had many different owners and has been under its current ownership for the past 10-15 years. Service is good and it's a decent place to purchase fresh Zabihah meat. They also have other South-Asian and Middle Eastern products/

Meat selection is limited and the quality is average. The server seemed to have a problem dealing with a female customer. My family consumes a lot of meat and chicken and I don't mind paying for quality but I would not go back there.

Br. Shafi the owner is a very nice and friendly guy. His grocery store is one of the best in the Bay Area. The restaurant next door is good too. Please support them both!

I have been coming to this place for all my halal needs. These people are high quality and very professional. I love to cook, and I try non desi dishes all the time. I am very particular about the way the meat is cut and packed. These people listen to me and do as I want. They go the extra mile. I ask them to pack the stuff in one pound bags and they do. Its a good place. The meat is of a higher quality and better variety. I can get any cut here. See I am an American born person, so I like both desi and non desi foods. I desire that my butcher be competitive with the non muslim butchers, AKA safeway etc. This place is the best yet. I dont mind paying more for better quality. The owners have said themselves, that most of their customers are well off, food connossieurs who are willing to pay more for quality and good cuts.

Its the best meat place in the Bay Area. We have tried many halal meat places but not one beats this one. Its worth the price for "Organic Halal" meat and chicken. Good Job and Keep up the service.

The place is very nice neat and clean. The meat is alos best as compared to other Hala places, But the prices are little high.

The meat is much expensive. Some items are 50% more costlier than other places.

I came on a business trip for MN and found this place. They have now opened a full fledged restaurant adjacent to their grocery store and I must say that the food is delicious. There biryani, mutton chops, and chicken tikka are a must try. Buffet is excellent and the owners are very pleasant people. Food is definitely outstanding.

"It's so good, Uncle Moorad frequents this place for Sunday brunch weekly. This is the same Halal Meats under the grocery mart section, but the attached "restaurant" really deserves its own mention. It is good stuff - fast, cheap and yummy."

This store sells very good quality halal food as well as has a small dining facility attached. They server very good non-veg dishes which is reasonably priced.

Nice grocery stored owned by a Pakistani (Shafi).

Buffet on weekends is good...reasonably priced. Gyro and Chicken Tikka are great. Good variety on ordered specials.
