We came here on a Sunday, and the space instantly reminded us of our time in Morocco. They’ve done a fantastic job preserving the culture and atmosphere it felt calm and inviting. One thing we missed from Morocco was mint tea, so you have to start with this. They use fresh mint and will refill your pot for just a few extra dollars. 10/10. We were welcomed with olives to start, and we ordered the Beef Kefta over Harissa Sauce, which was juicy, bold in flavour, and served with warm, fluffy semolina bread. 10/10. We also had the Lamb Shank Tagine – Lemon & Saffron (Signature Dish), and the lamb was falling off the bone, coated in a deep, warming spice blend. I paired it with couscous, which was light and absorbed the tagine flavours beautifully. Would absolutely order this again 10/10! We also tried the Harissa Spicy Chicken Kebab (Signature Dish), which was okay. The chicken was a bit dry and could have used more sauce. It felt more westernized, so if you’re looking for authentic flavours, I’d recommend sticking with a tagine instead. Overall 5/10.
