Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. From the management: 'Bay Area locations have halal carved chicken, halal carved lamb and beef, and halal grilled chicken kebab. San Diego, LA, Austin, and Orange County locations have halal carved lamb and beef. We understand and respect that the issue of Halal food can be quite complex, and there are a range of opinions surrounding this issue. It’s expensive for a chicken kabob plate or any protein. For one protein without a drink is $20! They give you a fluffy bed of salad that is basically a filler for the large plate and rice spreading out to cover the rest of the large plate to look like it’s filled. Otherwise, the amount of actual protein is minimal for $20 without a drink. Their four sauces available is not, but a little bland. I am sorry, I won’t be coming back due to the high price for one chicken kabob plate. If you want beef or anything else will cost you more. Over priced for a fast food chain. Look at my picture, would you pay $20 for it???
