As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
I was thoroughly impressed with the experience at this Canadian family restaurant! We opted for the menu of the day, which was a fantastic deal—much more affordable than the regular prices without compromising on quality. The restaurant itself was spotless, with a clean and well-maintained washroom, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The quiet ambiance made it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal and relax. My husband and I love it so much that we make it a point to come here twice a month, and he even stops by once a week during his workday lunches. This gem of a family-run Canadian restaurant deserves our support—highly recommend visiting for a hearty, budget-friendly meal in a cozy setting!
