As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
Grabbed the chicken shawarma wrap here and it was really good. The meat was fresh and they give you a decent amount of it, which you don't always get. The spicy sauce is legit spicy so that was a nice touch—way better than the bland stuff at some other places. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. Nothing crazy special about the place itself but it's clean and does the job. For the price, it's worth it. Comes out hot, tastes good, and you feel like you actually got something for your money. Would definitely come back if I'm craving shawarma around here.
