Disappointed and Frustrated with My Experience I ordered 12 wings and 4 garlic rolls from Barcelos, and I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and the service I received. The wings were completely burnt, black, and hard as rocks—definitely not edible. I had to drive all the way back to the branch to return them, which cost me both time and fuel. When I arrived, I calmly explained the situation, only to be told that “this is how they make them.” One of the ladies at the store—she said her name was Lindiwe, although she had no name tag—began shouting at me while I remained calm and simply asked why she was shouting. There was no apology or accountability. Instead, I was asked how much I had paid and was told to return everything I had ordered if I wanted a refund. I explained that the garlic rolls were perfectly fine and that my complaint was only about the wings. They refused to accept that and insisted on taking back the full order. While I eventually received a refund, the entire experience was unpleasant and disappointing. I felt disrespected and unappreciated as a customer. I hope Barcelos takes this feedback seriously and improves both their food quality and their customer service.
