I had high hopes for Lahori Kabab, but unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had. The only positives were the Masala Fries (4/5) and the Lassi (4/5), both of which were enjoyable. Our server was also polite and accommodating, even bringing us plain yogurt when we asked for something to help cool down the overwhelming spice level. The Malai Tikka was a complete letdown. Malai tikka is supposed to be mild, creamy, and flavorful, but this version was overloaded with salt and spice while somehow still lacking flavor. I've never had a malai tikka this spicy before. The Chicken Biryani was even worse. It was so excessively spicy that we simply couldn't eat it and ended up leaving most of it untouched. Heat alone does not equal flavor, and both dishes seemed to rely heavily on chilies rather than balanced seasoning. We left the restaurant without finishing our meal, extremely disappointed and wondering how food can be both flavorless and overwhelmingly spicy at the same time. The only thing we needed after dinner was a large bottle of Tums. Sadly, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Also will never come here again.
