I ordered the earl grey tea with boba and it tastes really good! My husband got the taro and it's also delicious. This spot seems to pride themselves in fresh boba and I think it's this quality that really helps Yaaas stand out from other boba spots (trust me, I've been to many). The interior design is so pretty and the employees seem happy to be here! It's in a prime location, which is a huge plus. As a local Astorian, my go-to boba spot is a bit further from me so I'm glad that a new boba spot is a quick walk away from me as well as trains and buses. The only thing I would admit that put me off upon entering this spot is the huge screen that has a slideshow of the owners of this place. I really wanted to see a menu of what they had to offer, but the only way for me to do that was to sneak a glance at the kiosk screens of the people ordering in front of me. I think the screen is fine but I think it would be incredibly helpful to showcase products and menus there instead of a bio and full length photo of the owners. Dining customers can have it in the background and may consider going back up to order something else! Just a helpful tip. Overall, my first visit was pleasant and it will most likely not be my last.
