As a big fan of salad, this place has been on my radar since it opened. I finally got round to trying it and since there was a JustEat deal, I loaded up the toppings I wanted and it came to £18. I was shocked but just assumed it was going to be a very large portion. What arrived was laughable. First of all, across the 3 salads my family ordered (totalling £50), multiple items were missing, including avocado at £2.39! I was surprised since they provided good service by calling us to inform us one of our ingredients was no longer stocked, asking us to choose a replacement. So I'm not sure why we still had multiple missing toppings. Next, the portion size. The containers are far too small for what they are charging. Not only that, but they were barely half full. I started digging around at the toppings that we did actually receive and couldn't believe the puny portions we had been given. The hummus was maybe half a table spoon, the pickled veg was two slices of carrot and two slices of cucumber, and there was at most 4 chopped olives. It was more like something you might pick up as part of a meal deal as a last resort not an £18 salad! To give credit, there was no problem with the quality of the ingredients and I did enjoy what little of them I received. But this company needs to take a serious look at the pricing structure of the toppings in relation to the portion size. When it comes to salad bars, there is some pretty impressive competition out there across other cities that might be worth looking to for guidance on this
