About Talkin Tacos

Authentic Halal Mexican. Tacos, Burritos, & More. Talkin Tacos started as a food truck in the Miami community, aiming to provide the best Mexican food in South Florida. But as we grew a larger and larger following, the lines around our food truck became too hard to keep up with. We knew we needed to expand into a restaurant space to be able to serve our awesome customers more of our famous tacos and Mexican food every day.

Hi guys. First off, I want to say this review is absolutely not directed toward the employees at the Coconut Creek, FL location. My family and I have come here many times and the staff has always been friendly, respectful, hardworking, and honestly phenomenal. Even today, despite the situation, you can clearly see the employees are doing the best they can under a tremendous amount of pressure. (DESERVING OF A RAISE OR BONUS!) My concern is more with management and the staffing situation itself. Today being Cinco De Mayo and Taco Tuesday, this location was clearly overwhelmed and severely understaffed for the volume of customers coming in. People were waiting well over an hour, online orders were extremely delayed, and you could visibly see the stress the employees were under trying to keep up with the nonstop flow. I personally placed an online order and waited around 45 minutes myself, but honestly, I felt worse for the employees than for my own wait time. They were trying hard, staying respectful, and pushing through an impossible workload while customers understandably became frustrated. This location has great workers. Please support them better by staffing appropriately during major promotional and holiday rushes like this. These employees deserve better support so they can continue giving the great service we know they’re capable of.
