A hidden halal western treat Chicken cutlet ($9.90) - 7.5/10 Batter was light and meat within was succulent and savoury. A mildly surprising find. Fried Chicken wings ($1.80/piece, min 2) - 6.5/10 Meat was juicy but slightly lacking in the flavour department but batter still proved to be light and crisp. Service - 7/10 Nothing to shout about. No qualms had here.

Not many Halal western 🍔🍟🥩stalls in Toa Payoh so Chops & Sear is probably going to be without much competition for a bit but let’s see 👀 what I got and how did it go. Restaurant : Well not really a restaurant but it is located in a Singapore 🇸🇬 Coffeeshop and that is just a norm here. It’s more of a stall rather than a restaurant. So, the cleanness 🫧🧼 is highly dependent on the company the coffee shop outsources to clean. Overall, not too bad. 👍 Only issue I see is getting a table. When I visited, it was jammed packed at lunch time on a Sunday. (We were happy 😅 to share a table) Staff : Friendly dude 👱🏾‍♂️, took my order 📝, paid 💵 and gave me a receipt 🧾 and a beeper 🚨 . He proceeded to cook 🧑🏾‍🍳 my orders. He was alone when I visited so I sensed the frustration 🤯 but he still managed a smile 😁. Food : We ordered the Seared Norwegian Salmon 🐟 with Garlic 🧄 Aioli ($13.50), Grilled Chicken 🐓Chop with Thyme 🌱 ($8.50) and Australia 🇦🇺 Beef 🥩 Patty Brioche Burger 🍔($10.50). Wait time ⏳is not very long. The portions are huge! (See my pics 📸 and video 📹) The pricing may be just over $10 for a coffee shop but the portions are huge! Almost overflowing a fairly large plate 🍽️. I personally had the Australian Beef Patty Burger and I love 😍 it! Fat and Juicy, it was well cooked and came to me tender and hot ♨️! Loaded with salty 🧂 fries 🍟 + veg 🥗, it was an amazing meal 😎. To make this comparison, just across the street 🏘️ is Mc Donalds, why would I even consider Mc Donalds over them? I also feel their cooking skills and quality are really good. If I could, I would easily be in the 🔝 3️⃣ western meal stalls in Toa Payoh! 🏆 #halalwesternmeal #besthalalwesternintoapayoh
