As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
Score reflects admin-confirmed halal status; no additional evidence on file yet.
Ordered a halloumi wrap no onions from this location, they gave me a wrap with a mediocre halloumi piece. Went back to complain the supervisor in charge basically dissected the wrap and used the same halloumi from the old wrap (after making it seem like he made a fresh batch) to put in the new one with onions this time. Love the Temu costumer service here, honestly bottom of the barrel. Do better. Not to forget that I also ordered a poutine with extra cheese and was given two curds :) had to go back to complain and get what I paid for. Night was spent walking to and back from Osmows👍
