I’ve been to many Pepe’s locations across London, but this is by far the worst one I’ve ever experienced. I ordered a Classic Chicken and Rice Box, and the rice looked like it had literally been dipped in water. Completely soggy and disgusting easily the worst I’ve ever been served anywhere. This branch is honestly bringing shame to the Pepe’s brand. The management clearly has no control over quality, and the entire team needs to be reviewed or replaced because food should never be served like this. The garlic sauce was even worse. It wasn’t a sauce it was basically garlic-flavored water. Absolutely unacceptable. The level of carelessness from the staff is damaging the brand’s reputation. I genuinely enjoy eating at Pepe’s . I was at the Romford branch just yesterday but this location was a complete disaster. To make things worse, the food made me sick this morning and gave me food poisoning. Something needs to be done immediately because customers shouldn’t have to struggle through meals like this or risk getting ill from food that’s supposed to meet a standard.
