In 2021, Hamzah Nasser set out on a mission to bring a unique coffee experience to life by opening the first Haraz Coffee House in Dearborn, Michigan. Guided by his vision of sharing Yemeni coffee culture and heritage, Hamzah introduced a concept that quickly resonated with coffee lovers. At Haraz, we not only promise some of the most exceptional cups of coffee ever crafted but also memorable moments shared amongst friends. This was my first visit to Haraz Coffee House, and it definitely won’t be my last. I stopped in to try the Haraz Latte, a double espresso infused with the house Haraz spice blend, and it was absolutely delicious. I usually gravitate toward cappuccinos because I don’t love overly sweet coffee drinks, but this was something completely different. The spice blend added warm, aromatic notes that were more savory than sweet, making for a rich, comforting latte that still let the espresso shine through. The café itself is beautiful—spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re meeting a friend, catching up on work, or simply slowing down with a great cup of coffee, it’s the kind of place that invites you to stay awhile. Although I didn’t order any food this visit, the display of freshly baked pastries, desserts, and sandwiches looked outstanding. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. A wonderful first impression, and a coffee shop I’m looking forward to visiting again.
