Dining at Itha, the world’s first underwater restaurant at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island was an unbelievable dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with seating for only about 15 guests and a fixed menu. During our meal, we were surrounded by what felt like hundreds of sharks, making it a completely one-of-a-kind experience. The five-course tasting menu was exceptional and featured flavors and items I’d never tried before, including caviar. Service was flawless from start to finish. A few tips: opt for lunch since it’s more affordable and offers better visibility while it’s still bright outside. Be sure to reserve well in advance, as spots fill up fast. And fair warning: this will likely be the most expensive meal you’ll ever enjoy, but absolutely worth it. I felt it's a one and done experience given the cost.
