Three of us went for breakfast at Modern Electric Lunch while visiting Winnipeg, and it was outstanding. I ordered the Strawberry Rhubarb Pancakes with a side of bacon, and I can honestly say it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The pancakes were absolutely delicious with the flavoured whipped cream. Another person in our group ordered the Palestinian Breakfast, which he found to be unique and very tasty. It looked a little more adventurous than what I usually go for, so I was happy with my pancake choice! Our server, Ayoub, was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. If you’re looking for a fantastic breakfast spot in Winnipeg, I would highly recommend Modern Electric Lunch. The restaurant isn’t very large, so if you’re able to make a reservation, it’s probably a good idea to avoid waiting for a table. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Winnipeg!
