AYA Japanese Halal Restaurant (อายะ ร้านอาหารฮาลาลญี่ปุ่น) – A Hidden Gem in Bangkok Our Grab driver initially brought us to the wrong location, but thankfully a kind security guard guided us to the correct place. Once we arrived, we discovered a lovely hidden gem—quiet, peaceful, and very comfortable. While waiting for our food, we were deeply touched by a beautiful voice reciting as an imam. At first, we thought it was an MP3 playing, only to realise they were performing jemaah prayer. It was a truly calming and special moment. The salmon sashimi was exceptionally fresh, and even the wasabi tasted fresh and authentic. It was so good that we ended up enjoying two sets of 500g sashimi during our meal. Every other dish we tried was equally delicious. The owners and staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we would definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic halal Japanese food in Bangkok.
