I recently tried German Doner Kebab on Bethnal Green Road, and unfortunately, it will likely be my last visit. I ordered a mixed doner (beef and chicken, unfortunately they don’t do lam Doner ), but the quality was disappointing. The portion of meat was very small, with the box mostly filled with salad on top and fries at the bottom. The doner itself was sandwiched in the middle and felt quite limited for a “mixed” option. Overall, it didn’t feel like good value for the price. The food was also cold when served, which made the experience even less enjoyable. For a relatively expensive meal, I expected much better in terms of both quality and portion size. That said, I do want to highlight that the customer service was very good staff were polite and helpful, so no complaints there. In my opinion, the brand seems to rely more on its name than on delivering a truly great doner kebab. Sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations, and I wouldn’t return.
