GoogleThe food here is good. About average for a Chinese place. The service is very efficient.

GoogleI recently tried the buffet at Hunan Village and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. For $15.99, they offer a wide variety of Asian and Indian dishes that look very appealing. On my first round, I had fried rice, black pepper chicken, and the Mongolian beef. The fried rice was adequately warm, but both meat dishes were only lukewarm. On my second round, I tried the chicken biryani and a curry chicken from the Indian section. Both dishes were cold. I informed the sole employee working the main floor that the food was cold. He adjusted a knob on the warming cart and mentioned he had just turned it on, advising me to give it 5–10 minutes for the food to heat up. A few minutes later, I went back for a third round: fried rice, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and black pepper chicken. The rice was warmer and the orange chicken was hot, but the black pepper chicken and Mongolian beef still weren’t hot enough to my liking. Another surprise was that they did not offer white steamed rice with the Asian dishes, which I’ve never seen at a buffet before. Service was also lacking. Employees walking from the kitchen to the floor did not engage with me aside from occasional eye contact. The employee I spoke to about the food being cold did not interact with me beyond turning the knob and later processing my payment. Overall, while the selection is broad and visually appealing, the lack of consistently hot, fresh food and minimal customer engagement was disappointing. Based on this visit, I would not recommend it. As a constructive suggestion to the owner: small changes could significantly improve the atmosphere. A simple greeting when guests enter, one proactive check-in during the meal (“How is everything?”), and a brief, courteous interaction at checkout can transform an environment that feels indifferent into one that feels welcoming. Hospitality doesn’t require over-the-top enthusiasm—just acknowledgment, attentiveness, and basic warmth. Those small efforts would go a long way.

GoogleFresh ingredients, not too salty, not too much brown sauce like other Chinese restaurants, and plenty of flavors. Fast service, friendly staff. Will definitely go order again!

GoogleI ordered over the phone then went to the wrong Chinese take out. 🤦♀️ We finally get to the right place 25 minutes late but everyone was kind and they even gave me $2 off my order because they didn’t understand about me asking about a children’s size portion (which they do not have.) I told them there was no need to give me a discount, but they did anyway. 😊 We get home and amazingly enough our food was still hot! 👍 I thought the moo goo gai pan was pretty good, my daughter liked her Lo mein, but my husband thought the General Tso Chicken was just ok. While my husband thought the food was just ok, I’m bumping my rating from 4 to 5 stars because of the customer service.

GoogleI’m not happy with my first experience here. I decided to try this place based on the good reviews (which I normally rely on) and ordered veggie lo mein to go. I was expecting the standard lo mein noodles, but instead I received thin noodles, which was disappointing and not what I anticipated. On top of that, I visited during lunch hours and clearly told the cashier that I wanted a regular order, not the lunch size. There seemed to be some confusion, as I was charged $10.55 (the regular price) and then later asked to add more money due to the misunderstanding on her end. The food came in a large box, but it was only half filled, which makes me believe they prepared a lunch portion and just placed it in a regular-sized container. Overall, the experience was confusing and disappointing. I wouldn’t be visiting again.
