As a VEGAN 🌱, I was pleasantly surprised by both the texture and flavour. Unlike some vegan kebabs I’ve tried, it wasn’t overly salty, and the portion size was generous for the price. The kebab seasoning was enjoyable without being overpowering, and the waffle pitta bread was really tasty and complemented the kebab pieces well. That said, the photos on the website make it look like an actual waffle, whereas it’s more of a hybrid waffle pitta bread with a waffle-style pattern pressed into it. I also really enjoyed the doner-flavoured fries and the hash browns. However, the hash brown portion was quite small, so I’d recommend the fries instead as they offer much better value for money. The fresh salad that came with the kebab was a nice addition, and I particularly liked the spicy sauce. My only real criticism is that there should be a vegan garlic mayo or vegan burger sauce option. It was also disappointing that there weren’t any vegan desserts available. We ordered the meal deal, which is excellent value at £9.99. The plant-based waffle kebab alone costs £8.99, and the meal deal also includes fries, a dip, a drink, and a dessert. Unfortunately, none of the desserts were vegan, so we gave them to a homeless person rather than let them go to waste. Overall, the food was really tasty, great value for money, and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely return again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
