Outstanding food. Has most of the Turkish favourites on the menu. Hummus is beautifully prepared. Lahmacun is very flavourful, maybe more flavourful than in turkey, though, it could be thinner for authenticity and to be a little lighter as it should. All shish plates are full and wonderfully plated. The lamb shish is the real star of the show. They lose a star on service for missing a mains order which caused a thirty minute delay. The wait staff, while pleasant people, could be absoputely sharper. Why are orders not written on a notepad.. Real kunefe is hard to find in SA, there are horrible takes out there, but Sofra nails it, serving it authentically and it's about as close to the Turkish magic as you will get. On atmosphere, the music playlist could have more Turkish pop, Tarkan etc etc. Raki would be nice but turkish tea to top it all off is great👌
