I ordered a family meal through Uber Eats for £52. The food arrived on time, and the delivery service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food itself was a huge disappointment. The whole family was looking forward to dinner, especially as this was our first time ordering from Chopstix. As soon as we opened the food, it looked cold and damp. Things only got worse from there. The chicken was extremely dry, to the point where the sauce had hardened and was stuck to it. The noodles were both dry and soggy at the same time and were completely inedible. The rice appeared undercooked, and the egg fried rice had the consistency of mashed potato. The entire meal ended up in the bin, and I had to order another family dinner from somewhere else. I'm genuinely shocked that this restaurant/takeaway has a 4.7-star rating. Perhaps the food is prepared and served properly for customers eating in, but our delivery experience was completely unacceptable. A very expensive and disappointing experience. Don't waste your money.
