I’m sad to leave this review, but have to. I frequent Coco and love their chicken. Tonight, we ordered two 3-piece chicken tender boxes and a small fry ($31 total). Below is a picture of the chicken tenders— I put a pickle next to them as a size reference. They were a smidge bigger than a chicken nugget from Wendy’s! I asked the cashier if he gave us chicken nuggets by mistake? He says “No, those are tenders. We changed the size of our tenders about 3 months ago.” I rebutted that their prices are the same for much less food (the tenders used to be at least twice the size) and they also still have the larger tenders advertised on their website (see photo from their website below). That is false advertising, and honestly a slap in the face to past customers. His response was, “What do you want me to do? I can give you a free fry, but that’s it.” Just terrible customer service all around. I won’t be back. Try Wings Over or Hooks for good chicken/portions at fair prices. Edit: I just learned that they are under new ownership now (hence the drastic changes in food/pricing). It was good while it lasted I guess. Edit based on response from owner: if you plan to change your product so drastically, the website should have included this information beforehand— otherwise, you are misleading people. There is nothing on the site nor at your physical store that mentions the information you state in your response. Also, your message does not address the terrible customer service we experienced. I hope you are able to figure it out and find success.
