I visited Taj Mahal in Mexico City and had a nice experience overall. Both the owners from Bangladesh and Iran. We ordered halim, chicken biryani, naan, chicken tandoori, lassi, and vegetable samusa. The chicken biryani was the highlight and truly tasted like Bangladeshi biryani. The lassi was excellent, and the tandoori chicken and naan were flavorful and satisfying. The halim tasted more like daal than the traditional Bangladeshi or Pakistani style, and the samusa was a bit chewy rather than crispy. Portions were slightly smaller compared to the USA. Overall, it is a good spot for South Asian food in Mexico City, especially if you are craving Bangladeshi flavored biryani.
