Food was really good , service was amazing. Having read some of the reviews where staff were criticised, I can honestly say this was not my experience, all seemed genuinely friendly. That said , I was hovering between a 3 and 4 star rating and fell on the generous side by giving 4. First issue shouldn't even arise with a roof top restaurant, the view should be a given - unfortunately not here. There are 3 tables inside with a decent view , the rest are on the terrace which is reserved for people who want shisha. There is a view of sorts from other tables but quite restricted by the layers of glass / perspex between the restaurant and the terrace , then the terrace and the outside world. So don't come here if you want a guaranteed decent view ( you can request it when booking, as we did but not guaranteed, we certainly didn't get one ). Other points is the volume of the music on Saturday night which hinders any kind of conversation. I get when the belly dancer is around ( which is awesome ) that it needs a certain volume. Other than that , they need to decide if they are a restaurant where people can converse easily or some kind of obscure blend that doesn't fit as either a restaurant or a club. This doesn't fit the rooftop restaurant niche - the view is mostly reserved for shisha smokers and there is little that could be deemed romantic. I still really don't get the idea behind the loud music, it makes no sense. Come here for the food and the experience, as for the rest... I'm just confused about what this venue is supposed to be - it's certainly not the high end rooftop experience that is advertised, it feels more like a new venue that's not sure if its identity. There is also no priority for people spending several hundreds of pounds in the hotel - maybe these should be the people given priority on the terrace .
