We stopped by Root Health Bar we came all the way from Houston, Texas, to try them out. I’m so glad we found this place. If you love healthy smoothie spots with Erewhon smoothie vibes, you definitely need to check them out. 🤍 I got the Mango Berry Passion Fruit Smoothie with mango, passion fruit, strawberry, turmeric, sea moss, coconut milk, organic apple juice, strawberry compote, and coconut cream — and it was SO good. Everything tasted fresh, natural, flavorful, and balanced perfectly. My mom got the Punchin Peanut Smoothie, which was also $12.99 in a 20 oz cup. It’s their healthy twist on an island classic made clean, with peanut butter, bananas, dates, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond milk. She absolutely loved it. I also love that everything is 100% halal and made with natural ingredients and superfoods while still tasting delicious and satisfying. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. She took the time to explain the menu and the different drinks to us, made us feel so comfortable, and even gave my mom a corn soup to try for free, which was such a thoughtful gesture. She shared that she opened this place because Scarborough needed more healthy and delicious options since there aren’t many smoothie bars on this side. I love that the menu is Caribbean-inspired but made in a healthier, nourishing way. I highly recommend checking them out, supporting local businesses like this, and showing them some love. They recently opened in January this year (2026). You can truly tell there’s passion and care behind everything they do. ✨
