I had SUCH high expectations for that place so it bums me to have to rate it so low. I saw the negative reviews and heard all the complaints but I wanted to give it a shot hoping everyone was exaggerating. 6€ for 3 tbsp of tabbouleh that didn’t even taste good is absurd, it was way too oily. Same for the hummus that was not tasty and obviously not worth the price. I heard a lot of complaints about the chicken claiming it tastes “boiled and oily” and it did. It was very pink, some way too pink even, but the guy working there told us it was normal because each chicken has its own color? The sandwich was okay, some better than others because some had good chicken but others got moist and fatty pieces. For 10€ it’s not big enough and not filling enough. The wings are probably the best prices items on the entire menu, I liked their taste but my friends complained it was too sour. The fries and batata portions were also VERY bad. I didn’t mind the taste I thought it was good but there was complaints about the Batata being too hard, and the fries being cold and tasting like they were fried in “fish oil”. Unlike everyone I came with, I didn’t have an issue with the taste of the food, it’s not the best but I don’t think it was as bad as described. My main issue is the pricing, I think it’s a shame to open a Lebanese restaurant to represent our food and culture and to price it that way. I’m not against restaurants having high prices but for mid quality and tiny portions it’s just a rip off. The atmosphere was bad, I can’t even defend it, the staff is always screaming at each other, the seating is horrible and you have to wait a LOT before being seated and before eating. Hate to say it but I would not go again, and everyone I came with felt the same (we were 7). I hope the place succeeds but with the way they’re going at it I don’t see it lasting long, you try it once then u regret it.
