As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
After the first time at this location meat chewy ND a little off. To calling them and kindly telling them about it. To the second just now finding a stringy clear fabric 2 pieces in my food. And no it definitely wasn't part of the food. (Mind you this is not my first with this in fast food). I would have took a photo but it's happened so many times now i wasn't even gonna update this review from a 5 to a 2. I just threw it out and told myself I'm done eating outside. As for this particular location Think I'm done with buying from here which sucks because it's affordable So I'll probably just have to stop by the convenience store occasionally but thats it. Better that ,than guessing what's going to be inside my stomach without me knowing feeling mentally sick ain't worth it. I'd give it a 3 because the food is good. But it's just a little much that I can't depend on my food being handled properly and am not gonna 🙃 complain or bother to mention it again. Because it only seems to probably have me receive a screw face look. It seems that's alot of the case 🤔 with the food industry now a days. Didn't even get to depend on dinner as I ended ordering a less healthy option and waisting more money which was not my intended task. On the contrary it was quite opposite. But it was late last night 🌙 and 👎 no way I was pulling that fabric and eating the rest not knowing what could be in there if your food isn't made with love it shows. Which brings me to think. I've found human hair in my food multiple times (from various Other fast food/restaurants)which has absolutely turned me off about the food industry. The reason it makes no sense to tell them is because you're at the mercy of who ever is cooking or preparing your food regardless and nine times out of ten they aren't cooking it and preparing it how they'd make it if they were feeding it to themselves. It's hard 😪 to find that now a days. The food is good but my experience in all fairness was not great
