Pita Land has made delicious, fresh, and affordable shawarma and kebabs, souvlaki, falafel, gyro, salads and wraps, but our story didn’t just begin then. Our traditions and recipes have been in our culture and in our family for centuries of Middle-Eastern history.

Last July, we visited Thunder Bay and found this restaurant through Google while searching for halal food. The high ratings convinced us to try it, but unfortunately our experience didn’t match the reviews. The food was quite disappointing. The garlic potatoes had a strange taste, and the wraps were packed mostly with vegetables with very small portions of meat. While our food was being prepared, we noticed the staff using a small steel container for the meat and not even filling it properly before adding it to our wraps. For the price, the portions and overall taste weren’t satisfying. We were hoping for a better experience, especially after seeing so many positive reviews. Sadly, it didn’t meet our expectations.
