I was working in my office, had a craving to go grab a Shawarma. I’ve been to this place before, late and after the bars, etc. Reviews were strong so I was looking forward to having a quick snack. Unfortunately, it looks like they cremated my Shawarma. Maybe I am a little bit picky, but this is far too burnt to enjoy in my opinion. The person making my Shawarma asked if “ this was OK” I didn’t quite understand what he was referring to, but I did say “that looks pretty burnt.” I was in a rush to get back to the office so I didn’t want to make much of a fuss. Proceeded to go back to the office and remove as much of the burnt bread as I could. Taste was OK, nothing spectacular or noteworthy other than the piece of plastic that I found in the Shawarma. Perhaps I am being a little particular about the burning of my Shawarma, and I understand that in commercial kitchens, foreign objects can sometimes accidentally fall into the food. But almost $20, I really wasn’t terribly impressed.

Shawarmas exactly how I remember them from the first time I ever tried one. These guys know what they’re doing, and they do it incredibly well. Easily one of the best I’ve had in years. Fresh ingredients, meat packed with flavor without being overpowering, just perfect. The staff was super friendly and chill. I’ll definitely be coming back.

A neighbourhood shawarma spot that delivers exactly what you expect, and sometimes that’s all you really need. The food is fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without trying too hard to reinvent the formula. Portions are solid, the drinks selection complements the menu well, and the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Having visited multiple times, the experience has been consistently good. Nothing on the menu feels particularly groundbreaking or destination worthy, but there’s also very little to criticize. The restaurant succeeds by avoiding gimmicks and focusing on reliable execution. This may not be the kind of place you cross the city for, but if you happen to be nearby, it’s an easy recommendation for a casual meal. Comfortable, dependable, and enjoyable, a good local shawarma spot that knows its lane

I visited Shawarmalicious with my family, and ordered a shawarma plate, a falafel wrap, drinks, and salad. The food quality was excellent, fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. Service was just as strong from start to finish. Qais was a wonderful host, courteous, kind, and very professional. He went above and beyond by offering cinnamon tea and complimentary baklava, which was a thoughtful touch and genuinely appreciated. We enjoyed the meal so much that we are already planning to return soon.

I was on the hunt for authentic shawarma and stumbled upon Shawarmalicious — and it was a total jackpot! This is hands down the most delicious shawarma I’ve ever had. The gentleman working there was super friendly and even surprised me with a complimentary dessert. I can’t recommend this place enough. Just look at that shawarma — I’ll definitely be dreaming about it!
