We recently visited Iftar and it was easily one of the most refined Middle Eastern dining experiences in Western Sydney. We started simple with the woodfired bread served with EVO oil and sea salt, which was warm, fresh and a perfect way to begin. The lentil soup was comforting and hearty, with a nice balance of flavours from the sautéed onion and rice. For sharing, the loubieh b zeit stood out with its rich tomato base and perfectly cooked green beans. The kibbeh nayeh was fresh and well-seasoned, with a smooth texture and a nice crunch from the walnuts. One of the highlights was definitely the burning cheese with the combination of salty halloumi with sweet honey, figs and dates worked beautifully. Moving on to the snacks, the wagyu kofta dumplings were packed with flavour and elevated by the crispy chilli oil and teriyaki sauce. The Skull Island garlic prawns were another standout, cooked perfectly and coated in a rich burnt butter, garlic and chilli sauce. For mains, the chicken shish was juicy and well-marinated with harissa, served with toum and pickled peppers that added a great balance. The Tajima Wagyu striploin (MB6+) was cooked to perfection, definitely a must-try if you enjoy premium cuts. On the side, the fattoush was fresh and vibrant with crispy Lebanese bread and a tangy dressing, while the batata harra delivered that classic crispy, garlicky, slightly spicy hit. The drinks were refreshing and paired really well with the meal. The mulberry crush had a rich fruity flavour, while the lemon mint crush was light, zesty and perfect to cleanse the palate. Overall, the food, presentation and quality really stand out. Portions are generous, flavours are well-balanced and the menu offers a great variety for sharing. Service was friendly and the atmosphere felt modern and relaxed. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for premium Middle Eastern food in Sydney.
