My dad and I decided to give Burger Factory a shot around 3 PM today and we're definitely regretting it now. We waited about 20~ minutes or more for a Classic Burger and a Cheese Burger with a Funnel Cake to take home with us, which cost about $36 in total. There was only 1 girl taking care of the cooking, taking orders, and prep work, while the other was in the back most of the time. She was polite and apologetic with how long it took, but we said it was no problem and headed out. When we got home to eat, we discovered both burgers were extremely thin, maybe half a centimeter or so, and so dry you had to take a drink between bites. Both were completely charred to the point where we couldn't even taste the meat. Meanwhile the buns were huge with a greasy wet texture to them. Definitely not what I was expecting with the pictures I saw in previous reviews, and what is advertised on their in-store menu. The funnel cake itself was hard as a rock to the point where it almost chipped a tooth, and you could barely taste anything. They basically overcooked the burgers and then over fried the funnel cake completely and thought it was okay enough to serve. Now our guts are killing us for even trying it out and we're in and out of the washroom with the runs. I don't know what went wrong between my first time here today and others with their higher reviews, but I definitely won't be going back there and don't recommend others to either, for the sake of not ruining you entire day having to deal with the consequences for trying it.
