Monteiro was created in 2013 in Montreal from a simple but ambitious idea: “Make the best Portuguese chicken in Montreal in a family friendly restaurant”. As early as 2013, the first Monteiro restaurant opened its doors at the famous Jean-Talon market and the success was the rendezvous with customers unanimous about the taste and quality of our products.

We stopped by Monteiro Express in Belleville during our road trip and were pleasantly surprised! 🇵🇹 It’s a Portuguese fast food spot and the food was so delicious — full of flavor and super affordable. We originally planned to grab just one combo for $11, but it was so good we ended up getting three… and even took two more to go! 😋 If you’re in the Belleville area and craving something tasty, definitely give this place a try. Highly recommended! 🙌
