Suya, Brochette, Chinchinga, Shish Kabob, Khebab, Agashe, Tozo, Tsire. Suya is the single most popular food that majority of Africans look forward to eating, as they travel back home. Skewers of spiced, nutty, smoky, charred beef, served with raw onions, tomatoes, cilantro, lettuce, and freshly squeezed lime juice. Makay serve all kinds of suya including Goat Suya, Beef Suya, Lamb Suya, and Guinea Fowl. There is 6140 miles between Ghana and America. This distance should not deny Africans in diaspora quality food. MAKAY always make you feel "African in America" by serving you indigenous African dishes in the "local style" at affordable prices.

Hands down the best African food in town! You have to try the Beef Suya—it’s perfectly spiced and incredibly tender. The Jollof Rice is also fantastic. Just a heads up: the portions are massive (mostly catering sizes), so you definitely get your money's worth. I spent about $40, but it was enough food to feed a small army. 5 stars!
