Masjid Ar Rahman

Fawkner Islamic Welfare Association Incorporated (FIWAI) located at 127-129 Jukes Road Fawkner is the Trustee for Fawkner Islamic Welfare Trust (FIWT). Currently, we are renting a property and using it as a mosque (approved by the Council) in the heart of the Fawkner business precinct, Melbourne. Now the Muslim community in and around Fawkner has decided to purchase the property to establish a permanent mosque, Masjid Ar-Rahman. Masjid Ar-Rahman is unique! Locally it made history. Since 2019, by the grace of Almighty Allah (SWT) we converted a pub into a masjid. Also, many businesses flourished around it including many halal shops. Shopkeepers and shoppers are now regular worshippers at the masjid with jamats. Otherwise often they were unable to pray on time or missed. Approximately 2,000 Muslim families live in and around Fawkner. So, immediate need for Masjid Ar-Rahman.
