Islamic centre set up my our Muslim brothers in Brighton in 1991, at the time the Masjid was limited to its capabilities although continued to serve the community in its state until renovation in 2001. Further development in 2007 allowed the community to buy the adjoining property for further increasing of the capacity of the Masjid.
