Masjid al-Islaah

To establish a place of worship in Newport News, Virginia for those who are unable or limited to attending other Masjids in the Hampton Roads peninsula. Masjid Al-Islaah (Journey to GOD) believes in fellowship and education among Muslims and the general community at large. Masjid Al-Islaah believes in outreach programs, to establish social union (i.e. workshops, festivals, social planning for politics and economic development) as well as classes for new Reverts to Islam and the community at large to learn about Islam. Giving Da'wah (sharing, inviting and learning what Islam truly is) will be the main focus of the Masjid.
