Masjid Suffah

Masjid Suffah is a non-profit religious organization established in 2015 to provide a place of worship for Muslims residing in and around Kennesaw. Masjid Suffah is named after the Ashab al-Suffah, the People of the Porch. The Ashab al-Suffah were a group of companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who sat on the porch of the masjid (mosque). They devoted their lives to studying Islam. Learning at the feet of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) allowed the People of the Porch to cultivate a deep understanding of Islam within themselves, which allowed them to serve Allah and serve the community at large. At Masjid Suffah, we hope to revive the spirit of the Ashab al-Suffah through education, cultivation, and service.
