Cairns Mosque (also known as Abou Bakr Asdeek Mosque) is the only mosque present in Cairns City. It is located in the suburb of North Cairns, and is used most frequently by the residence of Cairns and other near by cities. The new construction of the mosque was completed in 2010. It is owned by trustees and administered by cairns Islamic Society elected on a yearly basis.
