Islamic American Society of Connecticut

Also known as Masjid Al-Mostafa. Islamic American Society of Connecticut (IASC) is a non-profit, non-political, religious, and educational organization that is incorporated in the state of Connecticut since September 2007. IASC is dedicated to the betterment of Muslims in the state of Connecticut in general and Greater Waterbury in specific. In order to accomplish this goal, we felt ly that our Muslim Community should not be isolated but rather successfully integrated within the society. Towards that goal, we are building a model Muslim Community that can accomplish much in projecting the true image of Islam, and would subsequently work for the good and welfare of all. Alhamdulillah, the Waterbury Community is embarking on an ambitious Project that seeks to positively place Islam in the American landscape. IASC and Masjid Al-Mostafa will provide a wide range of religious, educational, social and youth services.
