Islamic Center of New Orleans

Located in a working class neighborhood close to the French Quarter, the Islamic Center of New Orleans serves the Muslim community of the center city area. Prayer services are held on a regular schedule in the spacious, upstairs prayer hall. The lower level has community rooms and space to host guests who are visiting the mosque. The dining area used to be connected to a small grocery store towards the back of the lower level. The grocery closed in the spring of 2005.
