Islamic Society of Algester

Run by the Islamic Society of Algester, which was established in 1990 in response to the growing number of Muslims in Southern Brisbane. It has grown significantly over the years, with the continuing inflow of migrants and new Muslims. The Society is dedicated to meeting the needs of the Muslim community in Brisbane, promoting Islamic awareness and co operation in the best tradition of Islam.
