WKZ (Indonesisches Weisheits-und Kulturzentrum or Center for Wisdom and Culture of Indonesia) eV Berlin was established in 1984 as a forum for the Indonesian community in Berlin, Germany. Since August 7, 2006, WKZ has been recognized officially at the Ministry of Justice of the Federal Government of Germany as a nonprofit institution with a range of social service activities through the Al-Falah mosque. Although located in Berlin, the range of stakeholders covers the State of Brandenburg. As an open organization, IWKZ also is a place for a variety of cross-national society. Muslims from Malaysia, Brunei, Germany, Ethiopia, and Arab countries use IWKZ as a place of activity. In many instances, IWKZ also establish cooperation with various parties, both organizations Indonesia and Indonesian NGOs, even IWKZ active in Buergerplatform Wedding-Moabit, inter-religious non-profit organization and culture in Berlin, Germany. Management IWKZ also be represented on the Commission on Integration Department of the Interior of Germany.
