The imam is a tyrant that controls everything. He does not disclose where or how the donations are spent. He is very harsh when speaking with people. According to him, only he & his family practice Islam properly. The khutbas are very long & dragged out even though he has been asked several times to shorten them. There is a lot of fighting in the community because of him. Several people have stopped coming to the masjid because of his behavior towards them. So much so that another group is opening another masjid within 2 miles of this masjid. I would never tell anyone not to go to a masjid because it is a place of worship, but I wouldn't donate a penny to this masjid.
