Our Mission is to secure the future of Islam in America with Muslims who are distinguished in American society by their positive contributions and the setting of good example with their actions and behaviors to others. MCC is established in 2001, and purchased 5.7 acres of land in 2006. The new center opened on August 8, 2010. With the help and guidance of Allah, our community has grown and continues to grow. This new building houses our weekend school, the multipurpose room which is also the prayer hall, offices, a library and a kitchen. As American Muslims we understand the importance of being active and thus have kept excellent relations with the staff from the State Department and Federal Bureau of Investigations along with local and national politicians like our District's Congressman, Brian Bilbray. In fact, Congressman Bilbray participated our Groundbreaking Ceremony on August 8, 2009. Exactly one year later, on August 8, 2010, we proudly announced the Grand Opening of our center.

Beautiful masjid in north park of San Diego. Worth visiting. Very mixed crowd. Welcoming and nice people. A lot of youngsters on jummah. Great kuthbah and very balanced and sensible. They do great talks on Friday evenings usually between Maghreb and isha. Some parts of the year there are 3 jummah prayers 1, 2 and 4pm.

Unfortunately website and actual Iqama timings are not in sync.. if you are maintaining a masjid website atleast make sure iqama timings remain updated. Drove almost 1 hour and found they had already prayed 30 minutes back

Alhamdulillah the MCC is a beautiful masjid in Northern San Diego representing a diverse community. I moved to San Diego over a year ago and it's been a blessing to become part of this masjid and community. All 5 daily salah and Jumuah is conducted. Prayers are in the same large hall with brothers in the front and sisters in the back. There is also a full time imam for the masjid. There is plenty of parking and dedicated wudu stations for brothers and sisters. The website www.mccsandiego.com is kept upto date with the current Iqama times, activities and programs.
