Madina Masjid

Madina Masjid is Newcastle's first purpose built mosque and is around 5 years old. Located in Fenham, it is a two story building which incorporates two prayer halls, a wudhu area, classrooms, an office, a kitchen and a dining area. Regular talks are held in the mosque, in addition to the daily prayers and jummah. The mosque has also recently installed a radio transmitter so that people with a receiver in their house can hear the adhaan and salaah from the mosque 5 times a day, as well as the weekly jummah khutbah.
