Werribee Islamic Centre

The Werribee Islamic Centre (WIC) prides itself in being the only multi-ethnic Islamic organization in Australia, and an active participant in the community life of the Wyndham area. We conduct, for example, fundraising for Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital. We have also worked together with our local council, state and federal government representatives to build a vibrant community spirit, promoting understanding and interaction. Also known as the Virgin Mary Mosque, the Werribee Islamic Centre is a 3km walk from Hoppers Crossing train station.
