Jamia Masjid Faiz-ul-Quran Ghousia

In 1998 the Muslim community in the Stechford area of Birmingham worked together to establish a Masjid and Madrassa and purchased a small commercial premises. The important need for this Madrassa was highlighted by the local community members (especially the elderly and children) who felt a desperate need to have a local Masjid to provide education and prayer facility. There was a desperate need for such a purchase to accommodate the growing local Muslim community particularly children's classes, Namaaz Juma, Taraweeh and Eid Namaaz etc. The local community which is very small in number but great in heart, make a plea to all Muslims to donate and help in the cause of Allah SWT, especially in this blessed month of Ramadan Shareef. The local Muslim community has struggled with great effort to expand the Jamia Mosque by purchasing the next door property to provide for Islamic education and to accommodate the prayer needs for the Muslim community of this area.
