Manassas Mosque

AlHamdulilah for this masjid. It brings Islam to reality. I have been attending and participating at this masjid for several years now. There is no Sunni/Shia madhab issues or divisions. the Imam will clearly tell you that a masjid is a place for sujada to Allah only and all Muslim are welcome to participate and to ask and question any action or topic of discussion. Katibs from all schools of thought perform at Jummah. Very educated diverse community!

Although I am not a Shia, I went here this past Muharram twice. All in all, a clean mosque that has an at-home feeling to it; the kind of feeling that makes you want to go to masjids as often as you can.

I've been coming here for years whenever on business in Manassas on Fridays. Friday prayer khutba is informative and relevant (as opposed to scripted and repetitive topics often heard at other Friday prayers). This masjid has many programs throughout the year including Moharram and Ramadan. Very clean and friendly with decent space for brothers and sisters.

I went here and prayed Jummah not knowing it was a Shia masjd, so if you are not Shia like me, please be aware of that. I thought the masjid was nice, I personally will not return here for prayer as I would prefer to pray in a congregation that prayers similar to my Sunni school of thought.
